On shore winds !!!
HIGH SURF WARNING STILL IN
EFFECT FOR THE
NORTHWEST FACING SHORES OF ALL
ISLANDS
Surf was big today, anywhere around
12 to 15 feet, but
too messy conditions on the North
Shore with the Kona winds.
It was getting even bigger tonight
and all the North Shore beaches are closed.
The buoys are "going crazy" with
heights of 30 feet, 17 seconds.
This period of extra large surf
should stick around for few days with
the tradewinds coming back by Monday.
Another large swell is expected
to reach the island by next Thursday.
There was some good surf with perfect
conditions
just around the corner, 4 to 6
feet and off shore.
Local only !!!
