Smaller surf and not so good winds !!
Surf today on the North Shore was
not so good with North, Northeast winds.
4 to 6 feet waves maybe bigger
sets in certain spots with not glassy conditions.
The water still pretty dirty and
this swell wasn't big enough to wash all it out yet.
Surf will drop to tomorrow and
a new Northwest swell is due on Thursday into Friday.
A larger Northwest swell, exceeding
the high surf advisory levels of 15 feet,
is expected for this weekend starting
Friday night picking Saturday and
another West, Northwest swell is
expected for the beginning of next week.
The International Bodyboarding
Association (IBA) World Super Tour (WST) final event:
The U$ 20,000 Rockstar Games Pipeline
Pro, presented by T-Mobile and Mike Stewart Science
kicked off today with 4 to 6 feet
not so glassy nor organized.

"The climatological average
based on 1968-2002
for the first double overhead swell
on North Shores for the new season is September 17th (+/- 9 days).
For high surf levels (15 feet face),
the average is September 29th (+/- 12 days).
The first Waimea day (25+ face)
averages to November 11th (+/- 28 days)(Pat Caldwell)."
