Aloha !!!
1st day of the Mike Stewart bodyboarding
contest at Pipeline was on today with
6 feet waves & variable winds.
For the first time ever the trials
is ran at Pipeline, not at the Turtle Bay.
Last year it was ran at the West
side.
There was so many new names and
the standout today in the three
first rounds was Michael Avila of Venezuela winning all his three heats
and having the highest score of the day.

Hawaiians representatives: Paul
Benco, Marc Mondello, Kaava Kealoha
advanced to the day two of the
event.
Friday and Saturday looks extremely
promising to continue the competition with the new swell and coming back
of the tradewinds.

There were waves everywhere in Sunset
and the inside was going off...

High Surfing Warning
was posted at 6pm for all the hawaiian
Northwest facing shores.
Buoy
# 1 shows lots of activity with 10 feet 20 seconds.
Another swell is on its way and
winds are supposed to be light variables.
Glassy morning surf and on shore
afternoon.
Get up early and you will score....
