6 to 8 feet surf with strong tradewinds !!
Today, surf was as big as it was
yesterday,
maybe a bit bigger in the morning,
6 to 8 feet, occasionally larger
sets in certain spots, Northwest swell direction, but
the strong tradewinds didn't help
much.
It was hard to take off and to
ride against it.
This wind should stick around for
one more day or so.
A new Northwest swell near advisory
levels is expected Saturday
hopeful with lighter winds.
The Pipeline Bodysurfing Classic
2004, Banzai Pipeline, North Shore, Oahu

BIG WAVE EVENT The holding period goes from December 5, 2003 to February 28, 2004. The event will be held on one day when surf measures at least 20 feet (40 foot faces).
