Small surf and gust tradewinds !!
Surf was small today on the 2 to
3 feet range,
still coming from Northwest direction.
Gusty tradewinds and pretty sunny
skies with scattered showers.
A high surfing advisory was posted
for the East side and
most likely it will remain through
the weekend due to the continuing strong and gusty trades.
A new medium Northwest swell is
expected to arrive late Saturday afternoon
picking on Saturday night and lasting
through Sunday.
Another larger Northwest swell
is expected for Wednesday with heights near high surf advisory level of
15 feet.
The Pipeline Bodysurfing Classic
2004, Banzai Pipeline, North Shore, Oahu
waiting period started and it goes
until February 6.
No contest today due to the windy
conditions and small surf at Pipeline.

BIG WAVE EVENT The holding period goes from December 5, 2003 to February 28, 2004. The event will be held on one day when surf measures at least 20 feet (40 foot faces).
