Small surf with slightly lighter winds !!
Again, Spring time surf size today
on the North Shore,
2 feet waves, Northwest direction,
strong tradewinds but, not as bad as yesterday.
Nice glassy conditions, sunny skies
with some scattered showers(rain).
A high surfing advisory will continue
for the East side
until around Tuesday when
the wind is supposed to calm down.
The Northwest swell we were expecting
today never came and
it is not showing yet on the buoys
for early tomorrow.
Watch through tonight to see it
there is any chances for some bigger surf for the second part of the day.
There are couple of new Northwest
swells expected for Monday and Wednesday but,
surf is not expected to reach advisory
levels of 15 feet.
The Pipeline Bodysurfing Classic
2004
was postponed again today due to
small surf.
It is one day of contest and the
waiting period goes until the 6th.

BIG WAVE EVENT The holding period goes from December 5, 2003 to February 28, 2004. The event will be held on one day when surf measures at least 20 feet (40 foot faces).
