Valentines weekend with junk onshore surf !!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE!!!

Once the surf has been the same, junk and onshore this weekend,
I though I may save myself a bit and do a weekend report instead of a daily.
Yesterday, Saturday, we had pretty good waves in the 6 to 10 feet range,
Northwest swell direction, not too bad surf conditions in the morning, but
strong onshore, messy conditions in the afternoon.
It was a very nice sunny day all right...
Today, Sunday, surf has dropped to 4 to 6 feet, strong onshore winds already early in the morning with
overcast and raining skies.
Surf should continuous in the moderate range until Tuesday with a reinforcement by tomorrow night
then come back up with
a new above surf advisory levels Northwest swell on Thursday into Friday.
We should see the tradewinds (offshore) back in the next couple of days.

Tow In World Cup 2004, Jaws, Pe'Ahi, Maui
Immediate release:
The 2004 Tow In World Cup will keep a watchful eye on a swell
predicted to hit Hawaiian waters next week Thursday.
It is still too early to predict the likelihood of running the Jaws event, but
this swell appears to have enough power to generate 30 foot waves (60 foot faces).
I will keep you updated as new information on the swell
as it becomes available and on the probability of holding the event.
