Huge swell on the horizon !!
A high surf advisory has been posted for the North and West face shores of all the hawaiian islands !!
Tiny surf today on the North Shore:
1 to 2 feet with variable winds
and not so glassy conditions but, crystal clean water.
Nothing much happening during the
day, but
the large Northwest swell expected
to produce surf well above the advisory level tonight into tomorrow
has already hit the buoy
# 51001, Northwest of the islands.
Surf should be on the 10 to 15+
feet range by morning.
The $75,000 Hansen's Energy Pro,
presented by Billabong,
a 4 stars Association of Surfing
Professionals (ASP) World Qualifying Series (WQS) event
at the Banzai Pipeline was postponed
today due to flat conditions at Pipeline.
No surprise if it happen tomorrow
in massive surf.

BIG WAVE EVENT The holding period goes from December 5, 2003 to February 28, 2004. The event will be held on one day when surf measures at least 20 feet (40 foot faces).
