Messy surf for your Aloha Friday !!
The surf on the North Shore has
dropped a bit from yesterday,
it was 4 to 8 feet, still the same
on shore conditions, but
today the winds have started
to shift more Westerly direction and stronger.
This could be a good sign, it could
become trades in the next couple of days.
A new North swell will arrive Monday
and
another bump is expected from a
Northwest swell on Tuesday.
Surf heights for Monday and Tuesday
swells may reach near advisory levels.
The
14th Annual World Championship
of Women's Bodyboarders
was postponed again today and there
will be no competition in the weekend because
there is a NSAA surfing contest
at Haleiwa on Saturday and Sunday and
the community does not allow two
surfing events at the same time on the North Shore.
So, check back on Monday.
The waiting period started yesterday
and it goes through March 28th.
The lucky 60 best bodyboarders
girls from all over the world
got two full days of contest at
Pipeline.
