Tradewinds are back !!
Very overcast and raining today,
but
surf was looking much better
on the North Shore.
Maybe not regarding swell size,
it was 2 to 3 feet coming from
North, Northwest, but
definitely the return of the tradewinds
made the small surf to look good enough and
it wasn't even crowd!!! I guess
was the bad weather...
This swell seemed more North(not
too bad, there was some West left in it) but
the swell expected for tomorrow
maybe will be bigger and with full North direction.
Next swells on Tuesday/Wednesday
and Thursday/Friday should be all West, Northwest.
No competition today at Pipeline
for
the 14th Annual World Championship
of Women's Bodyboarders
Check back tomorrow.
The waiting period for the event
goes through March 28th.
The lucky 60 best bodyboarders
girls from all over the world
got two full days of contest at
Pipeline all by themselves.
