Solid North swell !!
Surf started smaller in the morning,
2 to 4 feet,
very windy(tradewinds 15 to 25
mph) and showing some North direction.
By noon there were some solid 6
feet sets, full North swell and
it was getting bigger as the afternoon
progressed.
It was a good call to postpone
the
14th Annual World Championship
of Women's Bodyboarders
because this North swell was looking
not so good for Pipeline and
there are more Northwest swells
on
Hawaii's way this weekend, one
by Friday and another one by Monday.
The waiting period for the event
goes all the way to March 28th, so the
lucky 60 best bodyboarders
girls from all over the world
got two full days of contest at
Pipeline all by themselves and
they are in no hurry for a good
day.
