Back to back swells !!!

A new swell reinforcement was on its way yesterday night and
early this morning surf on the North Shore was solid 6 feet (hawaiian kine), North, Northwest direction with
awesome glassy conditions and sunny skies.
The biggest sets were taking long to come in but, when they did, it was solid...
Pipeline had some bombs as well as certain other spots.
The light variable winds still dominating the weather patterns and
by late morning, just before noon, the light North, Northeast winds damaged a bit the glassy conditions but,
it was still very fun and rideable.
It wasn't crowd at all, consider it was Sunday.
I guess, with both swells North and South (the swell in town was 3 feet hawaiian measurements)
there is surf all the way around the islands and people are not bothering to drive around.
Another bigger swell is expected for the South shores by midweek.
Sorry to inform you that this could be my last report for May (maybe I will do tomorrow if the surf is good).
I am going on vacation for the all month of May.

Back Door

Kahea "Hurt", yes, he got hurt pulling in a sick Back Door barrel today.
Fortunately, beside a huge hole on his head, he is fine.
