Sunday 07/21/02
Surf is up on the North Shore !!
Nobody knew, nobody expected, but
it was real:
2 to 3 feet pure West direction
with some 4 feet sets in certain spots
on the North Shore today.
Buoy # 50003, West of the island
is the only one
showing a little bit of something
(beside the Christmas Islands which
is already showing a swell for over a day or so).
It was a raining day and "very
Sunday",
so most of "us" fond out there
was some surf around here only very late this afternoon.
Rocky Point and Sunset were the
best spots.
V-Land and Pipeline (full of sand)
were small but rideable,
everywhere else was just flat,
period.
The forecasters still waiting in
the large swell for the South Shore
in the middle of this coming week.
As long as the North Shore keeps
surprising us like this, I am stoke...
Rocky Point

V-Land
Back Door/Pipeline
I truly don't know what to say about
this swell for tomorrow, but
one thing I can promise you:
I will be there early to check
it out.
See you later !!!
P.S.: check it out the Haleiwa Arts
Festival in yesterday's news:
