Tiny surf !!

Aloha everyone !!
Surf was tiny today.
It was so small, just about rideable with light to inexistent wind.
Overcast skies, raining with glassy conditions most of the day.
The adrenaline about big waves today was about the
tsunami(tidal wave) watch issued for Hawaii after a powerful earthquake rocked Japan this morning.
Reports said the quake registered magnitude 8.1,
shaking buildings and causing fires on the island of Hokkaido.
The quake generated small waves along the coast of Japan and
officials were worried it might generate a tsunami for Hawaii.
The watch was canceled about an hour later after the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center
determined the quake didn't generate destructive waves that could threaten Hawaii.(khnl)
Meanwhile we are expecting lots of real surf to the hawaiian shores beginning this weekend.
A moderate size Northwest swell will arrive Sunday, and
a larger Northwest swell, possibly reaching the North Shore advisory level of 15 feet
will arrive Wednesday and Thursday.

For high surf levels (15 feet face), the average is September 29th (+/- 12 days).
