2 to 4 feet glassy surf !!

Aloha everyone !!
Unexpected little swell today on the North Shore.
In the morning it was slow and small, but glassy with the tradewinds back and very sunny.
After so many days of on shore and overcast skies it was looking awesome.
Around noon the sets started to come bigger and bigger and there were some 4 feet waves in certain spots.
By 2:30pm the wind changed a bit and became on shore.
Surf should be getting only better from now on.
A medium size Northwest swell will start to arrive Sunday into Monday, and
a larger Northwest swell, possibly reaching the North Shore advisory level of 15 feet
will arrive Wednesday and Thursday.
Surf's up all week !!!

for the first double overhead swell on North Shores for the new season is September 17th (+/- 9 days).
For high surf levels (15 feet face), the average is September 29th (+/- 12 days).
The first Waimea day (25+ face) averages to November 11th (+/- 28 days)(Pat Caldwell)."
