Smaller surf today !!

Aloha !!
Surf was back to tiny today, 1 to 2 feet waves,
glassy conditions in the morning and very light variable winds in the afternoon.
It was sticky and muggy around here with no winds.
Surf should started to picked up tomorrow from Northwest, getting even bigger by Thursday.
Another larger more Westerly swell on the weekend is expected to reach advisory levels.
It is back to back surf on the North Shore.

"The climatological average based on 1968-2002
for the first double overhead swell on North Shores for the new season is September 17th (+/- 9 days).
For high surf levels (15 feet face), the average is September 29th (+/- 12 days).
The first Waimea day (25+ face) averages to November 11th (+/- 28 days)(Pat Caldwell)."
