I'm back !!

Hello everyone. Yes, I am back from Japan.
It wasn't the best trip I have ever had, but it was good for the purpose of it.
The Fujiko Cup at Kamogawa was the 5th GOB world tour event this year with $10.000 price money sponsor by Alba Rosa in memory of one year of death of
japanese pioneer professional bodyboarder Fujiko Yomoda.


It was put together by four best friends of Fujiko and top japanese competitors:
Momoko Hasegawa, Naoko Funayama, Kazumi Namajiri & Aoi Koike

Fujiko memorial and Michiko Uchida words were very touching.

Conditions were decent with 2 to 4 feet waves, messy and
pouring rain (God's cry of Fujiko's death) on the first day and
windy 1 to 3 feet and sunny on the last day.
Kamogawa is a nice beach on the South side of Chiba about 3 hours from Narita airport.
.

Japan was well represented with 60 competitors out of 72 total.
Aoi Koike and Yuka Nishimura equal 5th and
best Japanese in the event.

The competition was really tough,
specially between the girls whom are fighting for the world title.
Now, the decision will be in the Australia event at the end of November
and the four contenders are:

Neymara Carvalho/Brazil

Stephanie Pettersen/Australia
.

These girls just rip the final so badly.

equal 5th: Japan's power, Yuka Nishimura and Aoi Koike
