Surf's up and getting bigger !!

Aloha everyone !!
Surf started smaller today coming from Northwest, 4 to 6 feet range,
not so glassy with Southwest winds.
It was coming in bigger and bigger on each set.
By noon surf was solid 6 to 8+ feet , but the winds were straight on shore and blowing strongly.
Surf should get bigger to tomorrow night from Northwest, and it will get even bigger for the weekend.
Pray for better winds.

"The climatological average based on 1968-2002
for the first double overhead swell on North Shores for the new season is September 17th (+/- 9 days).
For high surf levels (15 feet face), the average is September 29th (+/- 12 days).
The first Waimea day (25+ face) averages to November 11th (+/- 28 days)(Pat Caldwell)."
