Slow surf for the weekend !!!

Aloha everyone!!

Surf was slow this weekend.
Saturday, surf was pretty flat with just about one foot rideable waves at Laniakea only.
Bad weather with heavy overcast skies and raining.
Today, either weather and surf got a bit better.
A new Northerly very small swell hit the North Shore and
we had 2 feet waves in the morning reaching 4 feet in some of the spots late afternoon.
Nice sunny skies and light to moderate tradewinds.
There was also some 2 to 3 feet surf on the South Shore.
Not very much is expected for the North cost, a series of small swells are the best bet.

"The climatological average based on 1968-2002
for the first double overhead swell on North Shores for the new season is September 17th (+/- 9 days).
For high surf levels (15 feet face), the average is September 29th (+/- 12 days).
The first Waimea day (25+ face) averages to November 11th (+/- 28 days)(Pat Caldwell)."
