Surf's up !!!
Aloha !!
Surf was pretty big today on the
North Shore with
8 to 12 feet, North swell with
light variable winds,
clean conditions in the morning
and onshore afternoon.
This same weather and surf should
continuos through tomorrow.
A series of swells back to back
are expected to pound the North cost
for few days into the new week.
Have a good weekend and be safe
out there!!

Not big enough for Waimea yet
"The climatological average
based on 1968-2002
for the first double overhead swell
on North Shores for the new season is September 17th (+/- 9 days).
For high surf levels (15 feet face),
the average is September 29th (+/- 12 days).
The first Waimea day (25+ face)
averages to November 11th (+/- 28 days)(Pat Caldwell)."
