Small clean surf !!

Aloha !!

Small, glassy 2 to 4 feet surf in the morning, with awesome conditions
on the North Shore today.
In the afternoon, the light variable winds really didn't messy anything around but
it wasn't as glassy as earlier, neither as big: the waves dropped considerably to inconsistent 1 to 3 feet.
 The 20th Annual Xcel Pro Contest at Sunset Beach was postponed today again,
it should happen on the weekend with the new expected Northwest swell.
Tradewinds should be back this weekend, meanwhile
it will be sticky and muggy for couple more days with this light wind conditions.
The 21st Annual Triple Crown of Surfing starts November 12th
with the VANS Hawaiian Pro and Roxy Pro at Haleiwa Ali'i Beach Park.

"The climatological average based on 1968-2002
for the first double overhead swell on North Shores for the new season is September 17th (+/- 9 days).
For high surf levels (15 feet face), the average is September 29th (+/- 12 days).
The first Waimea day (25+ face) averages to November 11th (+/- 28 days)(Pat Caldwell)."
