High Surf Advisory still in effect for all the Hawaiian islands !!

Surf was awesome today with
Hawaiian Winter time waves up to 12 feet on the North Shore.
The new Northwest swell was pretty clean and looking good with the tradewind.
Only the big waves spots were good:
Sunset, Pipeline and Waimea.
The $100,000 Vans Hawaiian Pro at Haleiwa was on today.
They have got under way the men rounds three and four with
waves up to 8 to 10 feet, but not so clean and with lots of current.
The highlights of the day were:
Current world number one Andy Irons (Kauai) with the highest score of the day: 19 out of 20
and six time world champion Kelly Slater (Florida) with the hardest landing in a 12 feet wave after a radical carving 360 degree turn.
The upsets of the day were the elimination of local favorite
Pancho Sullivan, world champion CJ Hobgood (USA), Taj Burrow
(Australia), and Flavio Padaratz (Brazil).
They could have the finals tomorrow surfing permitting.

WORKED

we convinced Hawaii's government to issue the permit for the Pipeline bodyboarding contests.
GOB(Global Organization of Bodyboarders) World Super Tour will have  one day of contest and
GOB World Qualifying Series will have another day in the waiting period of the Bodysurfing Classic
between January 30 to February 7, 2003.
The World Championship of Women Bodyboarding will happen in March.
There will be two days contest between March 13 through 28, 2003.
WE HAVE SAVED THE SPORT !!!
Pipemasters of the sport:
Alistair Taylor and Mike Stewart
will be back to rip the best bodyboarding wave in the world

 also, Karla Costa: 2 times world champion
and the real Blue Crush girls will be competing at Pipeline this year.
