High Surf Advisory still in effect for all the Hawaiian Islands !!

The biggest swell of the year:
20 to 25 feet surf today on the North Shore.
Buoy # 51001 reached over 25 feet, 20 seconds, couple of times last night and
the surf was gigantic all day today with good winds and sunny skies.
This is so much like Hawaii...
The Rip Curl Cup at Sunset beach, the second leg of the 20th Anniversary Vans Triple Crown of Surfing was postponed today due to the HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS.
Everywhere else in the world you cancel the contest for lack of waves,
"Hawaii is the only place where you have to postpone the event because
it is too big",(Rarick).

Surf should drop a bit overnight into Wednesday,
"yet still maintaining the large to extra large category for tomorrow"(Caldwell).

Waimea today was beautiful and surfers and photographers had a blast all day

There were people everywhere around the bay, it was a traffic nightmare

There were good waves, good weather, good surfers.
What else can you ask for??
