Aloha Friday with large surf !!

Surf was pretty large today coming from North, Northwest 12 to 15 feet,
not so good North, Northeast winds, on shore conditions.
This swell should have its peak tonight and slowly drop to tomorrow, still some energy left.
The winds should start to improve and switch to East, Northeast(trades).
We have couple of swells arriving simultaneously, one from North starting this weekend and
other West, Northwest starting on Monday.
The Rip Curl Cup at Sunset beach, the second leg of
the 20th Anniversary Vans Triple Crown of Surfing was postponed today
due to marginal conditions. Sunset was too big and messy.
They probably will run it tomorrow.

Surf Party at Waimea Falls.

Tomorrow between 12 noon to 4 pm at the
Pupukea Recreational Center(in front of Foodland)
lifeguards will be hosting a FREE CPR awareness day for family and friends.
Come on down. Get to know how to save lives!!!
