Surf's up !!

Again large surf on the North Shore.
North, Northwest swell in the 12 to 15 feet range,
 light to moderate tradewinds with good conditions.
This swell should drop to tomorrow.
Another large swell is expected on Monday.
Big wave riders having the time of their lives.
The Rip Curl Cup at Sunset beach, the second leg of
the 20th Anniversary Vans Triple Crown of Surfing was postponed today
due to marginal conditions again and again.
Sunset was too big for the fifth day on the row.

The opening ceremony for the
Quiksilver In Memory of Eddie Aikau Big Wave Event
will be on Tuesday, December 3, 2002
at Waimea Bay Beach Park at 4pm.
The official holding period start on December 5, 2002
and it goes until February 28, 2003.

Lots of practicing for big wave riders.

Waimea was the only spot on the North Shore again today
