Surf's up !!
Another North, Northwest 10 to 12
feet swell hit the North Shore today.
Pretty good conditions with light
to moderate tradewinds and sunny skies.
The biggest sets were a bit too
big for Sunset, just good enough for Banzai Pipeline and
not big enough for Waimea.
This swell should slowly drop to
tomorrow and
more surf is on our way for the
weekend.
The second leg of the Women's Vans
Triple Crown of Surfing:
the Turtle Bay Resort Women's Pro,
got underway today with six to
eight foot waves reforming on the inside
on the surf spot on the pool side
of the hotel.
Australian Dara Penfold had the
best performance with
a near perfect final score of 9.83
in one of her waves.
