Aloha & welcome to paradise !!

Another beautiful day of surfing on North Shore today.
Northwest 6 to 8 feet swell with awesome conditions in the morning,
no wind and sunny skies.
But, unfortunately this sunny skies and dry weather will not last much longer:
a massive front is approaching the islands and there are lots of rain, wind and
surf in the forecasting.
Surf is supposed to rise throughout tonight to tomorrow and last the all weekend.
Buoy #51001 shows 10 feet, 17/20 seconds.
High Surf Advisory has been posted!!!
No doubt, it must be one of the best Winters ever.

The second leg of the Women's Vans Triple Crown of Surfing:
the Turtle Bay Resort Women's Pro,
finished with six feet waves on the surf spot on the pool side of the hotel.
Californian Julia Christian, 20, after four years of trying to achieved the WCT tour,
made her goal reality by winning today the Turtle Bay event.
Christian will be the only mainland American female on the 2003 WCT tour.
Second place was Keala Kennedy/Kauai.

Tomorrow night is "Surf Night" at the Sunset Elementary School
(in front of the Ehukai beach park) from 5:00pm to 9:00pm,
featuring videos, free prize drawings and autograph signings by top pro surfers.
