Over crowded smaller surf !!

Aloha !!
Surf was smaller today on the North Shore,
4 to 6 feet coming from North, Northwest with glassy conditions most of the day.
If yesterday was crowd, I have no words for today...
It was Sunday in paradise...
Pretty sunny all day,
with heavy, non-stop rain late afternoon and all night long.
Tomorrow surf should be even smaller with dirty water with all the rain stream running down the hills.
A new, small Northwest swell is expected for Tuesday and a bigger one by Thursday.
The final event of the Triple Crown of Surfing,
the Xbox Pipeline Master waiting period starts tomorrow, Monday December 8th and goes until the 20th.
There are three days of competition and it promises to be very exciting with the
ASP (Association of Professional Surfers) world title in the hands of two of the hottest surfers of the moment:
Current world champion Andy Irons, Hawaii and
6 times world champion and current ratings leader Kelly Slater, Florida.

Australian Jake Paterson, the Rip Curl Cup winner at Sunset beach couple of days ago,
didn't have a very good surf session this morning at Back Door.
I hope he is OK for the Pipeline event which should happen any time now.

TRIPLE CROWN OF SURFING RESULTS:

TRIPLE CROWN OF SURFING SCHEDULE:

The 21st Annual Triple Crown of Surfing officially started
November 12th through December 20th.
The first event was the VANS Hawaiian Pro and Roxy Pro at Haleiwa Ali'i Beach Park,
its waiting period was from November 12th through 23th.
The Rip Curl Pro at Sunset Beach's, second event,
waiting period was from November 24th through December 7th.
The Xbox Pipeline Masters is the world's longest running event (33 years),
most prestigious pro surfing competition in the world
and the finale of the $750,000 Vans Triple Crown of Surfing.
Its waiting period goes from December 8th until the 20th.

EDDIE AIKAU BIG WAVE EVENT:

The opening ceremony for the QUICKSILVER IN MEMORY OF EDDIE AIKAU BIG WAVE EVENT
 was December 4, 2003 at Waimea Bay beach park.
The holding period goes from December 5, 2003 to February 28, 2004.
The event will be held on one day when surf measures at least 20 feet (40 foot faces).
