6 to 8 feet, glassy Pipeline for the
Rip Curl Pipeline Master!!
 

Another awesome day of epic surfing conditions for the Triple Crown of Surfing.
6 to 8 feet Northwest swell, glassy and clear skies at Pipeline today for the
Rip Curl Pipeline Master.
So many good waves, some many ridden tubes but,
the highlights of the day were:
six time world champion and five times Pipeline Master Kelly Slater (Florida, USA) with
the first perfect 10 of the event in a Back Door barrel and
another near perfect 9.83 in a Pipeline tube to finished with the best score of the day of 19.83 points and
Eddie Aikau big winner Bruce Irons (Hawaii) with the second perfect 10 of the day in a sick, deep Pipeline barrel.
The upsets of the day:
Three times world champion Andy Irons and Pipeline trials champion Mickey Bruneau.
Sunny Garcia (Hawaii) and Phillip MacDonald (Australia) still battling for the Triple Crown title.
Tomorrow surfing permitting the finals will go on.
