Small surf, but picking up !!!

Surf was smaller in the morning on the North Shore, 2 to 3 feet,
Northwest direction with light variable winds and cloud skies.
The Sunset side of Waimea bay was not glassy already middle morning, but
Haleiwa side of the bay held a glassy surfing conditions until about 3 pm.
When the light onshore dominated the all coast, the new swell started to show.
This swell should picked up to tomorrow, not too big, and
a near advisory level swell should hit the North shore this weekend.
It was raining non-stop late afternoon and all night long.
Expect dirty water for tomorrow due to the rain streams run down.

for the first double overhead swell on North Shores for the new season is September 17th (+/- 9 days).
For high surf levels (15 feet face), the average is September 29th (+/- 12 days).
The first Waimea day (25+ face) averages to November 11th (+/- 28 days)(Pat Caldwell)."
