Last day of the year with pretty good surf !!!

4 to 6 feet, Northwest swell, no winds and cloud skies was
the surfing and weather for the last day of the year on the North Shore.
There was dirty water along the coast due to the rain streams running down from last night's rain.
This swell should last throughout the New Year day and another swell is expected to arrive on the weekend.

for the first double overhead swell on North Shores for the new season is September 17th (+/- 9 days).
For high surf levels (15 feet face), the average is September 29th (+/- 12 days).
The first Waimea day (25+ face) averages to November 11th (+/- 28 days)(Pat Caldwell)."
