Winter time day on the North Shore.

It is June 12th and today was the day we were waiting for all Winter.
Surf on the North Shore was 6 to 8 feet in certain spots,
coming from a perfect West, Northwest direction and as good as it gets on any Winter time given day.
Awesome sunny day with moderate tradewinds and perfect surfing conditions.
Beside Pipeline, the sandbars around were not a problem but, the tide was.
Low tide had the best and biggest waves and high tide diminished the swell in the afternoon.
This swell should last through tomorrow dropping considerably. Bouys are still pretty good as 6 pm.
Not much is expected for the North side after this swell but,
town should see back to back swells starting on Wednesday lasting through the weekend.
It has been a good Summer so far...
