Fun conditions for the first USA Nationals at Sandy beach.

I WON.....
Can you believe it???
To begin with,
it was nice to have the nationals stopping by here, thanks Jason Bitzer to put it up,
mahalo Cory Correa and Paul Cooper IBA Hawaii for organizing it.
It was so good to, finally, have a decent women division on the first USA National Bodyboarding Tour event and
the attendance was espetacular, I believe due to the price money $1,000.00 for the finalist, plus
AWB, Carol Phillips and Jenn Marr help the girls to enter by paying half of all the girls entry fees. Mahalo !!
Better than all of these, the waves were fun, 2 to 3 feet, good conditions,
sunny and nice crowd on the beach and in the water everybody was ripping it up.

Caroline Casemiro, Brazil, ended up in 4th place

Hawaii's own Lindsey Yasui had one of her best performances ever on the semis
pulling barrels and inverts all over the place making to the finals getting cheers from the local supporters finishing 3rd

Daniela Freitas, Brazil, as usual, ripped the thing up all the way to the finals but, finished in 2nd today

Claudia Ferrari, Hawaii, owned the top of the podium taking the lead for the nationals rankings.
As everybody said: it was my final, it was my day...
