It is Summer all right.

Nothing much is happening as far as surfing on this hot hawaiian Summer.
Town has been really slow, North Shore has been dead flat.
The only side that has got something is the East side
with consistent tradewinds swells in the 2 to 4 feet range, but choppy and messy on shore conditions.
Despite all this flatness, there are other fun things to do around here on the Summer:
swimming at Waimea Bay, bike rides at the long North Shore cost, walking, hiking...
Another nice thing to do for the past 4 weeks is to watch the mom and baby monk seal that took over our "secret beach".
Our hawaiian monk seals are endangered and there are so many people volunteering to watch and protect this pair.

Mom goes everywhere with the baby just making sure he is growing up strong and safe.
