**High Surfing Advisory is in effect for the North Shore

with possibility for High Surfing Warning for tomorrow into Thursday.**

A large West, Northwest swell is rising rapidly on the North shore today.

The day started with small, 2 to 4 feet surf, junk and bumpy conditions, but

as the day progressed the swell started to show and conditions improved for the middle of the day

with the return of the tradewinds.

Late afternoon the rising swell combined with stronger winds

made the conditions a bit choppy.

This swell should reach 15 to 20 feet faces tomorrow getting even bigger for Thursday.

The Op Pro Hawaii men's and Roxy Pro Hawaii women's competitions,

the first leg of the Triple Crown of Surfing in Haleiwa

could be happening tomorrow or not.

The event is on stand by since Saturday and

there are good chances to start and finish this week into the weekend

with four days of competition on the row.

The 2005 Vans Triple Crown of Surfing events schedule:

1. Op Pro Hawaii/Roxy Pro Hawaii - Haleiwa Ali'i Beach Park, November 12-24.

3. Rip Curl Pro Pipeline Masters/Billabong Pro Maui Women's - Pipeline (men),
Honolua Bay Maui (women), December 8-20.
