**High Surfing Warning is in effect for the North Shore**
Surf was huge and epic today on the North Shore.
10 to 15 feet waves (hawaiian measurements, which means the outer reefs open ocean swell size)
in all the spots that hold large surf: Sunset, Pipeline, Haleiwa and Waimea.
The Op Pro Hawaii men's,
the first leg of the Triple Crown of Surfing in Haleiwa
started today with some bombs and very good performance from all the competitors
in especial a 13 years old local boy Jon Jon Florence.
Advancing through the second round so far were Kaipo Jaquias (Hawaii),
Bobby Martinez (California), Australian Chris Davidson, Eric Rebiere (France),
Sean Moody (Hawaii), Bruno Santos (Brazil), Cory Ziems, and Mick Fanning (Australia).

The event should continuous tomorrow surfing permitting, but
it maybe be a bit too big once the swell is supposely to pick up.

Honolua Bay Maui (women), December 8-20.
