Australian Jake Paterson takes the O'Neill World Cup at Sunset
North, Northwest 4 to 6 feet and dropping for the final day of the O'Neill World Cup.
Pretty good surf show disregarding the waves size and conditions.
Jake Paterson from Australia took his second Sunset title and $15,000 check
.
Kauai's own Andy Irons had to settle for second, but surf really good throughout the event
.
Bede Durbidge, Australia, 3rd place
USA surf idol, Pat O'Connell had a very strong performance all event and finished 4th.
.
Brazilian Yuri Sodre' finished 7th after defeating Tom Curren, Mick Fanning and Trent Munro among others.
Another swell is supposed to pick up tomorrow into Friday and
there are good chances for the start of the Rip Curl Pipeline Master.
Waiting period is Dec. 8th thorugh 20th.
