Honolua going off for the Rockstar Games Honolua Bay Pro Womens Division.

Honolua Bay, Maui has been really good on the past three days for the Rock Star Honolua Bodyboarding event.
Solid 6 feet for the men division on Monday and Tuesday and a slow started today for the women and drop knee division, but
in the afternoon, for the finals, the conditions were perfect with some 4 feet sets peeling in.

The top 4 girls in the Honolua women final today were:

from right to left

Caroline Casemiro, Brazil surfed very strong the all event
and took the 500 points IBA (International Bodyboarding Association)
first regional event for the 2006 World Tour ratings.

Daniela Freitas, Hawaii, ended up in second with a excelent performance in the final

Kira Llewelyn, Australia, current world champion,
finished 3rd after a perfect 10 score in the semi-final

Claudia Ferrari, Hawaii, finished 4th.

It was definetely a challange. The cliff was pretty high and not many ways up.

Three out four of us in the final woke up at 4 am and flew to Maui to expend the day surfing Honolua.
We will do it again.

Back home, the North Shore was still pretty solid today with 8 to 10 feet waves.
Another new giant swell is expected Friday picking Saturday reaching warning levels of 20 feet.
