Forever so many people have been coming to the North Shore of Oahu for its natural beauty.
No matter if it is all about the best big waves in the world or just to contemplate turtles on the beaches shores,
swim at the bay with schools of fishes or watch the whales and dolphins on the sea horizon.
We are all here for the special reason of the North Shore been what it is, COUNTRY.

Now, Turtle Bay Resort owners want to develop 3.500 new units around Kawela Bay all the way to Kahuku Point.

They said they have done good to the old hotel property, they have help the residents and community, but was it really done to any benefit to the residents?
Are we still able to go to the hotel and stay in the beach front "cabanas"

for $120.00/night kama'aina price as we used to?
No, now it costs us over $450 and they say it is still kama'aina price.

What about let the kids swim at the hotel pool while we are enjoying a maitai??
Forget it. Only guests allow.

And traffic, how are we going to handle this? How many more people will crash at the Kam Hwy hotel entrance ??

Will there be any turtles left at Laniakea (now known in Waikiki as "the turtle beach") in the next years to come??

WILL THERE BE THE QUALITY WAVES OF THE NORTH SHORE IN THE FUTURE FOR OUR KIDS??
WILL ALL THESE BECOME HISTORY?

If you ever been here and know how beautiful this place is or
if your lifetime dream is to come to Hawaii, please HELP

STOP TURTLE BAY FROM OVERDEVELOPING THE NORTH SHORE !!!

HAWAIIAN THOUGHTS:
"No matter how we choose to go into the water,
whether it is surfing big waves, surfing small waves, sailing, canoeing or swimming.
It is important that we can enjoy ourselves and find peace (Clyde Aikau)."
